Ponypork photographs his hands creating art

Our minds allow us to create while our hands allow us to construct. Hands make our ideas turn into reality. They can be soft or rough, large or small. They tell a story.

“Ponypork”,an Indonesian artist on Instagram, experiments with different artistic styles and media by showing us his hands actually creating his artwork rather than the artwork itself. Sometimes the creation of the piece is more important than the final product.His shots never show his face, only his hands, alluding to a certain mystery about the artist.  Ponypork uses the #whatmyhandsdoing hashtag to let viewers follow his process. Other artists have begun to catch on as well.
