A new way to share sign language with the world has been brought about by Mandy Paavola and Nancy Zavaglia. Owner of MP Makeup Artistry, Paavola is a Canadian makeup artist. She also specialized in face and body painting. Zavaglia, of Nancy Zavaglia Photography, is a deaf professional photographer.
In a unique combination, Paavola paints and Zavaglia photographs to create sign art. Painted hands are used to spell inspirational words like “Love,” “Dream” and “Grace.” The prints will be sold and a portion will be donated to deaf charities. Spread a little love.
