Living in Los Angeles puts you in close proximity with Disneyland. There’s Disney World in Florida, and Disneyland in Paris, they even have a cruise line. But Disneyland in Anaheim, California is the park built directly under Walt Disney himself.
Disney movies, the cartoons especially, are iconic. Quite a bit of fan art pops up around each Disney creation. Drawing the princesses into modern day society, with modern day temptations, is no exception.
In this collection, L.A. artist and illustrator Dang Nguyen makes a few princesses into vice-indulging hipsters. Whether it be nicotine or sugar, the characters have been illustrated with large-framed glasses and something at their mouths. There’s also a piece featuring the Sleeping Beauty villain Maleficent whose only vice is caffeine.
