Maps provide us with directions and where to go, but British artist Fuller believes they are more than that.
In his new work, London Town, Fuller illustrated the culture and vibrancy of London through drawn locations that locate iconic figures but also the atmosphere that exists there. This is a form of psychogeography, which is a more playful approach to geography with the idea that the behavior and emotions of individuals are just as important as the location. The artist drew London Town over 10 years with blank ink on cotton board. Its beautiful illustrations speak to the thriving culture that exists in the metropolis and tries to emulate that in this masterpiece.
