The collection ‘Tomboy’ shows the juxtaposition of femininity and masculinity. Italian fashion photographer and retoucher Alessandra Fraissinet uses these photographs to show elements from both ends of the spectrum. The subject is shown in black and white, and she wears both masculine and feminine clothing.
Currently in London, Fraissinet shows her love of intimate and raw photography with her Tomboy collection. Her portraits show the fluidity and closeness between male and female elements. With alluring black lace and strong grey trousers, Fraissinet demonstrates two gender roles coming together.
