The line between fashion and art is never easily defined.
New York design studio Karlssonwilker collaborated with Icelandic fashion brand Saga Kakala to create a series of silk scarves that are also art pieces that will be exhibited. Designed by Sandra Shizuka, the Shizuka Collection consists of 7 scarves and is named after Karlssonwilker. The accessories are both abstract and representing an object. The texture and vibrancy of the pieces offer an interesting visual trip that speaks to the beauty and ambiguity of clothing. The designer intended to emphasize the idea of motion and mailability.
Take a look at some of these pieces!
