If the world turned upside down, would we fall or find new footing? French artist Klemt explores what would happen if the sky was suddenly below us.
Klemt, real name Clément Tissier, uses India ink and pen for his drawings. Klemt draws layers of small lines to create dense and dark images. The result is a quirky flipped world. He shows where man belongs in a place that seems backwards. The sky and ground are suddenly flipped but the same. Trees decorate the air above and man walks among the clouds.
