Nature becomes the main source of inspiration for Alessio Albi, a portrait photographer from Perugia, Italy. Albi uses the female as the main character for all of his portraits. He then takes elements from nature to help frame the shot and cause different shadows, silhouettes and frames. Each shot offers a new opportunity for Alessio Albi to hide and reveal his subjects. Some elements from nature that Albi uses often is grass, flowers, trees and fences to help create different silhouettes. Nature around us is able to add that creative and dimensional element to the portrait that doesn’t take away from the beauty of the subject. Albi believes that a woman’s hair is an added dimension to provide the right pop to any shoot. He utilizes this feature in combination with nature in a plethora of his portrait shots. What makes this photographer stand out is that he doesn’t overdo his shoots. He lets the organic frame of the model speak for itself with small intriguing natural elements added in. Each portrait adds its own value to the series, showing different emotions and visual elements.
