Taking place at London’s Tobacco Dock, 17-18 September 2016, this year’s event focuses on four themes – looking at how we’ll Love, Play, Work and Thrive in the future. It will feature groundbreaking commissions including Collective Reality – a group sensory experience, created in response to the singular nature of virtual reality, Coming Out – a site-specific audio journey of dating stories created with Roundhouse Radio, and Cybathlon – exploring how elite sports of the future will be contested by cybathletes.

Mr Lyan 3

As well as prolific artists and writers such as DJ Spooky and Will Self, we’ll be hearing from radicals like Cindy Gallop – the entrepreneur actively shaking up the gender in the workplace debate, Claire Lomas – the cyber-athlete who completed the London Marathon in an exoskeleton, and Mustafa Suleyman – the co-founder of DeepMind.
