“Screw you” is probably one of artist Andrew Myers’ favorite insults.
He uses thousands of screws to create stunning images of the pull between love and evil, with love usually prevailing. His intricate designs are extremely detailed in spite of the limitations of the medium he is using. His choice of imagery is extremely powerful and provides a stimulant for thought-provoking conversation. By using common everyday objects and pairing it with a nagging hand, Myers is telling society what he thinks is wrong with contemporary visions.
