Raven Kwok uses coding to create a visual paradise

Raven Kwok is a visual artist, animator and creative programmer that mainly focuses on how computer algorithms and software processes can become a visual paradise. He used his coding talents to create a lyric video for musicians Karma Fields and Talib Kweli for their song GreatnessThe video is completely shown in black and white with kaleidoscope-like movements and figures that jut across the screen. Kwok wrote in the description how “the entire lyrics video consists of multiple variations of a customized generative system programmed using Processing,” a huge feat for a short video. The intriguing beauty of technology is highlighted through the song and acts as an excellent compliment to Karma Fields and Talib Kweli’s work.
