Consuegra Romero series titled “Encuentro Familiar,” meaning “Family Meeting” is simple but quite unique attempt to reflect on the days we get together. In intense detail using crosshatching techniques in many of the drawings, Romero shows the who and where. Portraits make up the family. The family members are meeting in a house on a lake bordered by mountains. Romero’s collection creates a narrative of a big family coming together among beautiful nature. Whether relaxing or boating on the lake, the family spends time in a gorgeous setting.
