Sarah Lucas is recognized as a prominent part of the Young British Artists that emerged in the early 1990’s (along with Tracey Emin and Damien Hirst), she is known for her self-portraits and satirical sculptures. Lucas’ work features sexual innuendos and visual puns, her medium’s – toilet bowls, cigarette butts and tights. From the artist’s previous communal egg throwing events to the use of cigarette butts in a butt.
