#COP27: TWO THIRDS of students want to progress in a career with social impact

60% of students today are working toward a career that supports future generations such as sustainability, healthcare, and charitable organizations

With the COP27 climate summit taking place from 6-18 November, reaching our sustainability goals is at the forefront of everyone’s minds, including the next generation of world leaders – in school now. Amidst a once-in-a-lifetime backdrop, where young people continue to face extraordinary challenge and change, MyTutor, has unveiled that two thirds of Gen Z (61%), over and above any other generation, prioritise an occupation that has a positive societal impact, whilst not sacrificing their salary, with a further 60% of students agreeing that they would like a career that supports future generations such as sustainability, the health profession, or charitable organisations.

Confronted by numerous socio and political crises, students today are realising that the best way to pursue a future with personal success, is to create it themselves.
