Are you looking for something extra special as a gift for your other half this year? From luxury pieces to handmade items, here’s four Christmas presents that show your partner you love them.

Thoughtful jewellery

If you’re looking for an indulgent way to honour your relationship with your significant other, thoughtful jewellery is a great gift.

Jewellery pieces include a diamond ring, a personalised necklace or charm bracelet, or a luxurious piece made out of precious metals and gemstones. Whichever option you choose, make it extra special by tailoring it to their taste in terms of style.

A watch is an alternative accessory for those who don’t wear much jewellery. You can choose a model with features to suit your significant other’s lifestyle, and personalise it further by adding an engraving to the back of the watch face.

A photobook

Handmade presents like a photobook are a sure-fire way to demonstrate your devotion without breaking the bank. The sheer amount of hours that goes into crafting a creative project shows how much you care!

When you’re putting together the photobook, think about a theme. You could do something specific to your journey as a couple, stick to holiday snaps, or collect pictures of your partner from childhood to the present day.

You can either collate these by hand using a notebook and glue or create a digital version that’s professionally printed.

Comfortable clothing

When you feel completely at ease around your other half, that’s when you know it’s a relationship that will last. Embrace this idea and invest in some comfortable clothing for their Christmas gift this year.

Considering that energy bills are at an all-time high, warm clothes will be a definite winner. You could go for something cute and corny like matching onesies, a Christmas jumper, or a wearable blanket. Practical outdoor clothing will always come in handy too: think thick socks, gloves, a hat, and a scarf.

Creative date ideas

We put a lot of pressure on ourselves to find the perfect Christmas gift for our partner. However, why not spread out the joy throughout the year by putting together a list of creative date ideas?

A fun way to present this is by handwriting the different ideas on small pieces of paper and adding these to a box or jar. Your partner can then pull out the ideas one by one, giving you an endless stock of surprise special occasions to look forward to.

You don’t have to make every idea a big event – combine fun nights in with exciting days out to keep the costs in check. If you want to give a big gesture, why not make one of them a ‘golden ticket’ weekend away?
