Carrubo, London’s favourite open air venue has launched their Summer Series in collaboration with Corona, for a month of music and entertainment to kick off the season.
Kicking off yesterday and taking place every Thursday, Carrubo’s Corona Sunset series champions local musicians and is free of charge for guests to enjoy. The first in the series showcased London local’s Terra Twin who debuted their EP in January and described as “Moody art-rock” by Rolling Stone UK, and up and coming singer, songwriter H.L. Grail whilst renowned Mexican beer, Corona, is served ice cold from a special pop-up bar within the Carrubo courtyard. Carrubo also serves up summer spritz, wines and cocktails from their in-house menu. They also have a selection of bar snacks on offer including; Perello Olives, Pintxo Skewers and Guacamole with taro chips.
Located off London’s Southwark Street in the heart of SE1, Carrubo takes its inspiration from the beach-side bars of the Mediterranean, and with its crisp white façade, terracotta details and cobbles, bringing a taste of European chic to the heart of the city. The perfect setting for Thursday hangs, the Carrubo terrace offers a lively al fresco atmosphere overlooking Southwark Street.
Corona Sunsets at Carrubo starts at 6.00pm and will run every week until 11th July. Future sets confirmed with CATE, Luna Bay, DJ Havelock and DJ Faro.
