Riverside East, the recently opened East London destination for events, dining, and screenings, has announced their latest exciting venture; Farmer’s Market, run by @thebigmarketlondon. The new events feature two different, regular, markets; The Riverside Market and The BIG Market. Offering a myriad of goods, there’s 20 stalls (The Riverside Market) to 40 stalls (The BIG Market) of local producers and creators that guests can wander through, including; vintage & handmade clothing, jewellery, plants, homeware & ceramics, records, artists, bakers, cheeses, fresh produce and much more.
With a commitment to supporting local businesses, Riverside East launches these initiatives to bring to life the venue’s overriding principles of sustainability and wellness. There’s nothing more rewarding than knowing activations such as these are helping to grow small businesses, and with the mix of The Riverside Market, which focuses on food produce, and The BIG Market, which focuses on an array of different lifestyle brands, there really is something for everyone.
Against the pulsating backdrop of the resident Riverside East DJs, guests will be able to leisurely peruse each of the stalls, meeting the founders and having the chance to sample what’s on offer, before settling down to enjoy food & beverage delights from either the Flats & Fries outdoor kiosk or the indoor café.
These dedicated producers have found their ultimate home in the heart of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, where Riverside East will champion the city’s freshest local brands. There’s no better way to spend a weekend.
