This fruitful partnership will see more songs emerging over the coming months.

Jazzu (Justė Arlauskaitė) began her musical journey in her home country of Lithuania at 14-years-old, and was introduced to music by her grandmother who taught her how to play piano. Jazzu’s ability to seamlessly merge jazz, electronic and pop influences has made her a formidable force within the industry. At 15-years-old, she became the lead vocalist for the influential band Pieno Lazeriai. Following this, she pursued an education in music at Thames Valley College in London. Jazzu is influenced by the likes of Moloko, Amy Winehouse and Whitney Houston with her distinct Pop and R&B soundscape sure to be enjoyed by fans of soulful pop icons such as Adele, Amy Winehouse and Tyla.

‘Razor Blade’ begins as a ballad, with Jazzu’s vocals soaring through an impressive range with emotional depth and immaculate control. The instrumentation builds in intensity with foreboding drums and cinematic orchestral swells, culminating in Jazzu’s passionate closing sung passage, buoyed by epic choral backing vocals. The song recedes into a quiet, brooding outro, allowing the listener to emerge gentle from the powerful experience.
