Made in Shoreditch: Music Factory – Vita and the Vicious

London based Vita and the Vicious are currently recording their debut album. Effortlessly combining feisty rock pop with intelligent lyrics and captivating live performances.
Front woman Vita Ross’s voice has a gutsy- yet-vulnerable elegance. She has effortless showmanship but there is a touching honesty in her delivery. This, combined with catchy guitar riffs and contagious melodies, ensures the band captivate audiences wherever they play.Vita Ross moved from Berwick-Upon-Tweed, a small North Eastern town, to London in 2007 to create her own brand of pop rock and never looked back. After teaming up with Make My Day Ltd, a production and publishing company, Vita began writing melodies with lyricist Louisa Scott and the Vita & the Vicious sound was born.
Vita-and-the-Vicious-2The pair write with various other musicians, such as Keith Godman, Tom Wilcox and Bud Goldston- Banning, and have created contemporary songs that are melodic, edgy and infectious. The band are currently recording their debut album, Le Petit Mort, in London’s Urchin Studios with producer Dan Cox. They also recorded a cover of Depeche Mode’s ‘A Question of Time’ with Wes Maebe of Sonic Cuisine.
