Loverproof is songwriter, band leader and classically trained musician Ciara Haidar. After appearing with a host of the music industry’s finest artists and collaborating on a range of diverse musical projects, London born and Beirut raised Loverproof has found time to stand alone. Once dreaming of the life of a classical pianist, this Lebanese/Irish performer has musical influences as diverse as her heritage, citing Shostakovich, Paul Simon and Phil Spector as her heroes. Armed with an arsenal of epic, artfully crafted anthems and the lungs of a one woman powerhouse, her intoxicating mixture of violent passion and vulnerable fragility will linger like heartache and evoke a yearning in even the weariest of souls.
