Following the runaway success of The 1975 this year, The New Union are next in line for a bit of mainstream success with their brilliant mix of radio-friendly indie pop, and have today premiered their new Staying Friends EP exclusively on Gigwise.
The EP follows the band’s debut single, ‘Without You’, and has been produced by Grammy Award winning producer Dan Grech, who has previously worked his magic on albums by Scissor Sissters, Lana Del Rey, The Vaccines and Keane).
From the bright and breezy sounds of opening track ‘Staying Friends’, to the epic crescendo of ‘Rushing Thoughts’, to the melancholy piano track ‘Forget Again’, the Staying Friends EP establishes The New Union as a band on the rise in 2013, and one set for big things in the coming summer months.
