Award winning author Phillip Pullmans book Grimm Tales: For Young and Old has undergone a massive makeover to become a live action play with it’s world premier at Shoreditch Town Hall this Friday.

Pullman’s books take the classic stories of the Grimm brothers and retell them in a clear and concise way for all to understand and enjoy. Now it has gone from page to stage to become an immersive and thrilling piece of theatre.

Pullman’s book was praised for bringing back the original dark tone of the Grimm Brothers tales and the production will stay true to that.

Five different stories, Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel, along with lesser-known tales The Juniper Tree, The Three Snake Leaves and Hans the Hedgehog, will be transformed into an interactive adventure in the town hall basement. The disused and interconnected rooms provide the stage as audiences move from story to story.

Running from Friday 14th March to Thursday 24th April you can book tickets here. http://www.grimm-tales.co.uk/
