A New David Shrigley Exhibition is opening at Hang-Up Gallery

This winter, Hang-Up Gallery is offering the perfect joyful antidote to long, dark nights and relentless miserable media headlines – a new exhibition of works by David Shrigley. Loved for his dry sense of humour, use of bright colours, whimsical characters, and ironic captions, Shrigley’s intuitive sense of style and witty text always evokes a smile.

Having dealt in his work for nearly a decade, Hang-Up will exhibit this full collection for the first time, including over 30 Shrigley works. Including  limited-edition prints, colour and monochrome originals, ceramics, plus a series of amazing posters at affordable prices.

Hang-Up’s Ben Cotton comments, “As a welcome antithesis to the steady onslaught of media morosity of 2022 we are very happy to announce our upcoming exhibition “Mainly Multiples, Some Paintings and Other Stuff too” with esteemed artist David Shrigley.  We have been dealers in work by Shrigley for close to a decade but this is the first occasion we have brought together a collection of this scale for public consumption. The exhibition will celebrate Shrigley’s rich and playful style that often borders on the absurd as he comments on modern society in his own unique and distinctly unfiltered style.”
