A brand-new Restaurant has opened at Sun Street Hotel, a five-star boutique hotel offering an exceptional dining experience. Tucked away on the border of Shoreditch and the City of London, the gorgeously elegant, wood-panelled Restaurant at Sun Street Hotel showcases Modern British cuisine at its best. With 40 covers the Restaurant is the ideal setting for intimate evening meals, while the bright, sunlit Orangery is perfect for breakfast, morning coffee, lunch or Afternoon Tea. On warmer days, the outside Courtyard is a buzzing space for cocktails and al fresco dining.

Delicious Menu

The stunning menu focuses on fresh, seasonal produce from carefully curated suppliers. Highlights include the Native Lobster, which arrives dripping in garlic butter alongside Koffman’s fries and a side of baby gem lettuce, and the Dover Sole, perfectly seasoned with brown butter, lemon capers and parsley. The Josper Grill serves mouth-watering Grass-Fed Hereford sirloin and Ridgeway Farm Irish Wagyu ribeye accompanied by bearnaise sauce, fries and fresh salad. Vegetarians can opt for the No-Meat Short Rib with velvety truffle mash, crispy kale and garlic crisps, or the Grilled Hispi Cabbage, potatoes and oat milk sauce.

Those with a sweet tooth need look no further than the dessert menu, overflowing with a variety of treats from the show stopping Mont Blanc Chestnut Meringue to the comforting Soft Baked Chocolate Chip Cookie. Visitors wishing to enjoy a spot of afternoon tea will be delighted with the wide-ranging options, from the classic Goldstein London Cured Smoked Salmon and Cream Cheese to the eclectic Yuzu and Lime Tart, and Rosewater, Pistachio and Orange Polenta Cake. Light bites paired perfectly with delicious bespoke cocktails can be found in the quiet and quirky bar area, allowing guests to soak up the buzzy atmosphere of the hotel.
