The Other Art Fair Returns to Truman Brewery with Gods Own Junkyard Installation

The Other Art Fair, presented by Saatchi Art, is returning to The Truman Brewery for its 26th London edition, offering switched on art lovers an unmissable alternative to the conventional Frieze week experience. This edition features a vibrant programme of guest exhibitions, immersive installations, live portrait sessions, DJs, and the chance to meet and buy stunning artwork directly from over 150 incredible emerging talents and much more.

Celebrating an impressive 70 years of creativity, with a portfolio that includes Louis Vuitton, Stella McCartney, Selfridges, Miu Miu, Burberry, Mulberry, Alexander McQueen and more, neon specialists Gods Own Junkyard will unveil an immersive installation at the fair that showcases iconic pieces from the last seven decades. Visitors will have the unique opportunity to pre-book photography portrait sessions within a one-of-a-kind Gods Own Junkyard 70’s Soho set, masterfully captured by renowned photographer David Ellis. For collectors and enthusiasts, the fair also presents a rare opportunity to purchase neon works directly from Gods Own Junkyard.
The fair will host 150 artists from emerging to established, covering everything from photography to painting to printmaking, with prices to accommodate any budget. Among the 150 artists, visitors can expect to discover the ethereal stylings of Moroccan contemporary painter and designer Assia Bennani with her semi-figurative paintings which offer a bridge between realities, cultures and time frames; the unique botanical and landscape studies of American visual artist Steve Gallagher which marry his expertise in graphic design and photography; Tom Buchanan’s unlikely ceramic project which sees him recycling plates into one of a kind storyboard pieces: the pastel hues and nostalgic Americana scenes of Emily Loizides’ screen prints; the tongue in cheek declarations of Willow Stacey’s embroidery and the layered block colours of Emily Kirby’s semi abstracted figurative paintings, amongst many more varied offerings from this years featured artists.
