Welcome to Made in Shoreditch!

There’s no place we’d rather be

Following the success of ‘Made in Palo Alto’ and other local lifestyle magazines launched in 2011 in the US, the Made Local team have now set their sights on the UK, and have tastefully selected the iconic Shoreditch district as their starting point.

The Made Local / Nearby Digital Partnership

To ensure a successful launch of its first UK initiative, Made Local has partnered with a local London based social media marketing agency, Nearby Digital, which specializes in developing and implementing social media campaigns, applications and websites for local businesses around Shoreditch.

The Website

In anticipation of the highly-awaited premiere issue of Made in Shoreditch we’re pleased to announce the launch of our official website! Written by a team of handpicked, expert bloggers and journalists, the site will regularly feature compelling articles and posts with respect to the outstanding fashion, culture, innovation, dining, events, and people that all contribute to Shoreditch’s iconic status as London’s cultural and artistic hub, and give it its name as the city’s Silicon Roundabout.

The Magazine

Made in Shoreditch will be a magazine like no other. Set to be published in a unique, pocket-sized format for maximum convenience and portability, and distributed at local establishments free of charge, it will serve as an essential guide to Shoreditch for locals and visitors alike.

The Competition

Love Shoreditch as much as we do? We want to hear your story! To celebrate your love of this wonderful neighbourhood, we’re holding a competition in which the winners will have their stories of why they love Shoreditch featured in our premiere issue.

We’re holding two competitions: one for individuals, and the second for business owners and establishments. All stories submitted to info@shoreditch.co.uk will be featured on the blog, and the stories with the most ‘likes’ and ‘tweets’ (via the Facebook and Twitter buttons on individual posts) will be featured in our first magazine issue. Simply email us your stories of why you love Shoreditch and what it means to you, along with a high-resolution JPEG picture of yourself and a short bio for a chance to be featured in this one-of-a-kind magazine. It is an ongoing competition so it is never to late to send your story!
