Bubble Organ was created by Aaron Wendel , a instrument construction student at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. This was a course titled “Instrument Construction” offered in the Sound Dept, where experimental and interdisciplinary approaches encouraged to using sound as a material for making art. They encouraged students to use their imagination and to use readily available materials. Some of them worked long and hard to make working instruments that have never existed before.
