Photographer Oliver Charles became interested in photography at a young age. As his interest grew, so did his skills and conceptual ideas.
Charles, a twenty-year-old university student in London, uses his images to conceptualize the darkness of his mind. His stunning images probe the viewer to ask questions about the scenario but also within themselves. His juxtaposition of subject and landscape create a dreamworld where the photographer’s deepest fears surface. The imagination become real, causing unsettling emotions to surface.
His exploration of ideas that individuals often avoid addressing makes Charles’ work compelling and important to the art world.
