Legendary Shoreditch bar and restaurant McQueen is ushering in the summer season with the launch of brand new al fresco terrace, McQueen Outdoor. Opening on Friday June 24, the new venue will offer East Londoners a sprawling new space to soak up the sunshine in a contemporary, urban setting.
Open from midday-11pm, seven days a week, McQueen Outdoor will launch with an exclusive menu of signature cocktails, perfect for enjoying in the great outdoors. Sample drinks will include the refreshing McQueen Spritz (Kamm & Sons, Crème de Cassis, Prosecco and soda) and the Cincinnati Cooler (Grey Goose vodka, Mandarine Napoleon, fresh mandarins, cinnamon syrup and fresh lime juice), while a dedicated Champagne bar will also add a touch of luxury to proceedings.
Meanwhile, an outdoor grill will be turning out a selection of delicious summer dishes, with highlights set to include a mouth-watering Ultimate Hotdog served with sauerkraut, English mustard and bacon crisps and Grilled Chicken Skewers with roasted peppers, caramelized onion, Portobello mushrooms and sweet chilli sauce.
The new terrace has been designed by McQueen owner and interior designer Dezzi McCausland, and channels the same sense of rugged glamour found in the main venue, with the fully decked area complimented by exposed brickwork, quilted leather paneling and Chesterfield seating. Exclusively commissioned street art pieces from Belfast artist Visual Waste complete the look, with images of pop culture icons lending the space a distinctive urban flourish.
McQueen Outdoor is handily situated a stone’s throw from the main site, meaning guests can simply wander over the road to carry on their night at one of London’s most vibrant entertainment venues. The King Of Cool just got coole
