Matthias Heiderich is a self-taught photographer who’s working and living in Berlin. He started taking photographs in 2007 and since then worked on a variety of project. His portfolio consists of many pictures taken in Berlin and all over the world.
Material I is a creative review of architecture, places, and scenes captured in the cities of Tokyo, Seoul, Berlin, Leipzig, Lisbon, Milano, Rome.
All Heiderich photographs preview minimal, contemporary, urban and suburban places. He’s giving a different perspective on those spaces by contrasting the colours and finding something extraordinary in ordinary surroundings.
His artwork could be characterised by pastel colours used with an extraordinary sense of perspective.
