Photographer Amy Friend has taken vintage photographs and used them to create a beautiful new photo series entitled ‘Dare Alla Luca’, which means ‘to bring to the light’ in Italian.
She took these forgotten photos and breathed new light into them by punching little holes in strategic places in the photographs and then shining a light through them.
The effect is like looking at a soft focus, romantic sepia toned dream from a movie. Check out some of the gorgeous pictures below which are also available to buy from her website.
