This collection of photographs, Still Falls the Rain by Eduard Gordeev, is surreal. Picture a rainy day, some might think grey. These pictures prove that even a rainy day can be full of warm color. A red umbrella or a yellow pool of light, colors are reflected by the wet pavement.
Rain drops are on the surface as if we’re looking through a window at the street outside. Light and reflective images shine from the ground. Everything is a bit blurry, but the city is still alive with busy people traveling from one place to another.
Both night and day shine with color and warmth as people pass by carrying umbrellas to shield themselves from the rain.
