Realistic paintings capture water and women

Swimming is one of the most relaxing activities to do on a hot summer day. The cool water instantly relieves the sweat from our bodies and allows us to float into a world free of thoughts and problems.

Painter Gustavo Silva Nuñez, a Venezuelan-based artist, makes us want to take a dip in his work. He created hyperrealistic pieces of women in the blue abyss, and then poses with them in a way that makes it seem as if he is actually interacting with the figures in his paintings. The detail of each image exquisitely captures the tranquility of the water with the movement of the women.
