Hackney Bridge, the vibrant east London canalside community space in Hackney Wick, is prepped for a sports-filled summer with the addition of its new outdoor screen. The screen will be showing the major sporting events of the summer; Wimbledon, the Women’s Euros and the Commonwealth Games.
The 2-meter by 4-meter screen will overlook Hackney Bridge Gardens, allowing friends and family to relax on the grassy area along the canalfront. Whilst enjoying the sport, Hackney Bridge caters for every food and drink need. Collect a crisp, cold pint from its very own shipping container bar or the Hangar Bar inside the venue, displaying beverages from local Hackney suppliers. Hackney Bridge offers a range of food traders, from Japanese vender Rainbo serving gyozas and bao buns to Made in Puglia for Neapolitan-style pizza. Offering cuisines from across the globe, there’s something to suit every palette.
For those who are not interested in sport, Hackney Bridge will also be showing some family-friendly films later this summer. Head to the venue’s website to find out more and see what’s on.
Hackney Bridge’s outdoor screen is the perfect place to watch the major sporting events and a variety of films for all ages this summer with your friends and family.
