The Design Museum Presents Vince Fraser & Erotikk’s Collaborative Afro-Surrealist Jewellery Collection

Vince Fraser, London-based visual artist and EROTIKK, UK-owned jewellery company were approached by The Design Museum to feature their collaborative jewellery, ‘The OSHUN OMI’ Collection at the Museum’s ‘Objects of Desire: Surrealism and Design 1924 – today’ exhibition from 14th October – 19th February ’23.

Curated with Vitra Design Museum, the exhibition will explore design from the birth of surrealism in 1924 to the current day; spanning classic Surrealist work of art and design as well as contemporary surrealist responses.

VINCE FRASER and EROTIKK launched the ‘OSHUN OMI’ jewellery collection in September ’21, inspired by FRASER’s ‘OSHUN OMI’ digital art piece that celebrates, amplifies and uplifts black culture whilst delving into spirituality, identity and ancestral history. EROTIKK co-created the three-piece jewellery collection that merged their artistic mediums together.

The Design Museum will present bespoke, elevated versions of the ‘OSHUN OMI’ Ring & Pendant, featuring 14k solid gold and a mixture of VS clarity modern round brilliant and baguette cut diamonds in a mixture of white and black colour. These pieces were especially made for the exhibition and for the exhibitors to experience.

The limited in-stock, jewellery collection is available to purchase online now, starting from £150 for 925 sterling silver, with the options of 18k gold plating, or black rhodium plating with 18k gold accents. EROTIKK are now offering the chance to purchase the elevated pieces with precious stones.
