The canal-side venue, Number 90 Bar & Kitchen, nestled in the heart of Hackney Wick, is delighted to announce its most exciting party to date, to celebrate its 9th birthday. Taking place on Saturday 1st April, the all-day party will be filled with delicious food, exceptional music, and an abundance of fun, hosted by a roster of special guests.
The venue will swing open its doors at 12pm and host over 15 hours of partying across 4 different spaces with DJs, performers, and live acts. Revellers will be able to enjoy entertainment in the bar and restaurant area, the beautiful canal-side terrace La Terraza, or one of the two ground floor studios which will house the birthday festivities until the early hours of the morning.
As with all Number 90 parties, the event will revolve around the assemblage of music celebrated by both the artists and audience alike. Headliners include the Norwegian based music producer DJ Fett Burger Talks, as well as San Proper who is an undeniable staple in the Amsterdam electronic music scene. London based DJ, Scarlett O’Malley will also make an appearance, who plays a range of soul, house, disco and Latin music. As well as Aroop Roy, who joins the dots between electronic music and borderless organic sounds to produce music ranging from house, disco and techno, to jazz, funk and Afrobeat. These unmissable performances will also be joined with long-time friends and residents, Phonica Records, plus other live bands and acts including the DJ Jive Talk, who have recently exploded on the live circuit.
Throughout the evening, partygoers can refuel from Number 90’s mouth-watering menu which features an extensive selection of burgers, as well as a delicious assortment of small plates, salads, and sides. Visitors can choose from the likes of a crispy buffalo chicken burger, Beyond Meat Burger, a roasted portobello mushroom burger, as well as a traditional beef burger with smoked cheddar, streaky bacon, lettuce and tomato. Other dishes include BBQ pork ribs, vegan superfood salad, sizzling chicken wings and angus beef brisket dirty fries, all which can be washed down with a refreshing and creative drink from the bar’s innovative drinks menu.
Number 90 prides itself on being a key figure in the Hackney Wick community, throwing some of the best parties in East London and continuously working alongside its neighbours to implement the all-inclusive ethos that it is celebrated for.
