The menu
Sticks’n’Sushi was founded in Copenhagen in 1994. Its menu pairs sushi and sashimi with yakitori, the grilled skewers that give the group its name. The Shoreditch restaurant is built around a large central bar.
The restaurant is a short walk from Shoreditch High Street station and Boxpark, at the north end of the street near St Leonard’s church.
The Hackney yuzu beer
For the launch, Sticks’n’Sushi worked with Hackney Church Brew Co., the brewery and taproom in the railway arches on Bohemia Place near Hackney Central, on a Yuzu Lemon Wheat Beer. The hefeweizen used yuzu with the citrus notes of a Bavarian wheat beer, and was poured at Shoreditch and other London branches.
