Morty & Bob’s the family owned, all-day restaurant, café and bar with locations in Coal Drops Yard, Kings Cross, Westfield’s food court, Shepherd’s Bush and the latest third location just opened in Kensal Rise.

The concept, created by restaurateur Charlie Phillips, is famed for its deliciously naughty Grilled Cheese Sandwiches, the story started with a Grilled Cheese food stall in East London’s Netil Market, which later toured the UK music festival circuit and ran a series of pop-ups.

In 2015, Morty & Bob’s expanded its menu into a British brunch and lunch café, by opening the first bricks and mortar site in London Fields, followed by a flagship all-day restaurant, café and bar in Coal Drops Yard, Kings Cross. The year of 2019 saw the opening of Morty & Bob’s all day hot food counter, in Westfield Shepherd’s Bush. Late 2022 welcomed Kensal Rise as a new neighbourhood restaurant in the portfolio. All sites still serve the original recipe grilled cheese sandwiches, plus all day snacks and large plates, exceptional coffee and a London-supplied bar.
