Bali-based Russian producer and DJ Chertkovski has unveiled his latest track, ‘Miracle’, on March 15th, 2024 via Reverse Universe. En route to becoming one of Russia’s most unique electronic music exports, Chertkovski is constantly in the spotlight and has been touring the world for years, with his music racking up over 2 million listens across platforms. He has received strong support from artists (Nora En Pure, NTO, Eelke Kleijn, Vintage Culture, Miss Monique, Einmusik, Sam Shure, Death on the Balcony among others) and popular publications and radio stations such as DJ Mag, Mixmag, Deep House Amsterdam, When We Dip, Tomorrowland One World Radio, and Purified Radio amongst others.
He has performed at legendary night clubs and festivals, boasting an array of regional and international tours to the likes of Atlas Super Club, Savaya, Soho Garden, Garden Of Babylon, and many more. He founded Reverse Festival in early 2021, which has included appearances from NTO, Einmusik, Korolova, Sam Shure, YokoO, Rafael Cerato and The Organism, to name but a few.
Chertkovski began dabbling in music from early childhood when he picked up piano, finding it fascinating yet not quite immersive. As he grew older, he became acquainted with electronic music, performing at street races from just 15 years old. At age 18, he began touring and became absorbed by the idea of freedom of travelling and creativity. Feeling as if it was destined to be what he does with his life, Chertkovski began to create his own music. Influenced by the likes of Township Rebellion, NTO, Eelke Kleijn, Cassian, Mind Against and Colyn, his particular flavour of melodic house is sure to be enjoyed by fans of Artbat, Camelphat, 8KAYS and Avoure.
Produced, mixed and mastered by Chertkovski himself, ‘Miracle’ is a mesmeric work of melodic house music. Hypnotic pulsing rhythms grounded by a delicate four-on-the-floor beat, twinkling synths, trippy textures and subtle, progressive builds stir the listener into a trance. The track showcases Chertkovski’s production prowess – it is crisply clear and unrelentingly engaging.
