Gala de Danza Brings a Spectacular London Debut to Central Hall Westminster

Ballet stars, world premieres, and jaw-dropping performances—this is not your average dance event.

London, get ready. The internationally celebrated Gala de Danza is making its highly anticipated London debut on June 25-26, 2025, transforming Central Hall Westminster into a breathtaking stage where world-class ballet, contemporary dance, and live music collide. This isn’t just another night at the theatre—it’s a boundary-pushing fusion of movement, music, and artistry.

Bringing together 153 artists from 15 nationalities, Gala de Danza promises a lineup packed with stars from The Royal Ballet, English National Ballet, Rambert, and more. With exclusive performances, world premieres, and show-stopping collaborations, this is where ballet meets innovation, and the results will leave you speechless.

Juliano Nunes Leads a Reimagined Swan Lake

For its London premiere, Gala de Danza has something extra special in store—an exclusive interpretation of Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake by the phenomenal Brazilian choreographer Juliano Nunes. Known for his bold, contemporary storytelling, Nunes is set to redefine the ballet classic with his visionary approach.

Speaking on his collaboration with Gala de Danza, Nunes shared:

“Gala de Danza doesn’t conform to artistic ideals—it opens eyes and fills hearts. Christina’s passion and vision are a force, and I’m honoured to bring this new interpretation of Swan Lake to London.”

Expect the unexpected—this won’t be your traditional tutu-and-tiara Swan Lake.

A Global Stage for Dance Innovation

Founded in Mexico in 2013, Gala de Danza has built a reputation for bringing world-class talent to extraordinary places. London is just the latest stop in its mission to challenge artistic boundaries and redefine the dance experience.

Founder and Creative Director Christina Lyon explains:

“For over a decade, Gala de Danza has created immersive, cross-disciplinary performances that evoke the senses and push boundaries. Bringing this vision to London, a global hub for creativity, is an incredible moment.”

The artist lineup is just as impressive as the venue. Expect performances from Rambert, The Royal Ballet, and English National Ballet, alongside cutting-edge world premieres by Juliano Nunes and Jade Hale-Christofi. Youth America Grand Prix’s brightest young stars will also take the stage, joined by innovative performers like Murmuration, Earth Harp, and the UK International Latin Champions.

And this is just the beginning—more artists and surprise collaborations will be announced soon.
