Is your Autumn feeling a bit beige? Not to worry—Autumn at Hart Shoreditch is here to inject a bold splash of colour (and cacao) into the season. From soulful sound healing to cocktails worth the Tube ride, Hart Shoreditch and its buzzing East London neighbours are serving up a culture-packed calendar that will make staying in feel like a mistake.

So, if you’re craving connection, creativity, or simply a really good excuse to leave your flat, let us walk you through everything worth doing this season—starting, naturally, at Hart Shoreditch.

The Hart Wellbeing Chapter

Let’s begin with a breath (or maybe a journal entry). Hart Shoreditch has officially launched The Hart Wellbeing Chapter—a new series of immersive wellness sessions created in collaboration with Fire + Alchemy. Think astrology workshops that go far beyond your sun sign, sacred women’s circles with cacao in hand, and Yin yoga sessions that could lull even your busiest brain into rest mode.

Whether you’re plotting a full soul-reset or just want to try something that doesn’t involve a screen, these workshops offer a soft landing.

Creative Vibes Only

There’s no shortage of tactile, paint-splattered, hands-on goodness either. On 23 October, channel your inner portrait artist at Studio Nights. It’s art class, but cooler, and with wine. For those into stitching over scrolling, The Mindful Mending Club returns with Andrea Cheong on 26 October, plus two more dates in November. Bonus: sustainable fashion points for learning to repair instead of replace.

Also, don’t miss the brand-new Sip & Stitch sessions launching in November—think sewing circle meets East London energy.

A Starry Workshop Lineup (Literally)

On 14 October, Astrology 101 from Fire + Alchemy promises a cosmic deep-dive into your birth chart, lunar cycles, and the meaning behind your rising sign. You’ll leave not just knowing your Mercury sign, but actually understanding what to do with that information (finally).

Prefer ink to introspection? The Reflect & Reset Journal Club (11 October) is here to help you get those thoughts onto paper with purpose. It’s like therapy, but with pens and snacks.

Beyond the Hotel

Because no one visits Shoreditch to stay in all weekend (even if the beds at Hart are glorious), here’s what’s happening beyond the lobby:

  • Museum of the Home hosts exhibitions all autumn long—from Vietnamese archive explorations to panels on British taste and memory preservation through craft.

  • Monday Night Comedy at Jaguar Comedy features acts from BBC and Netflix every week. Yes, it’s actually funny.

  • London Cocktail Week (9–19 October) brings masterclasses and limited-edition mixes to bars across Shoreditch. UBA joins the party with its After Hours cocktail specials every weekday from 5–8pm.

Family Fun, Farm Vibes, and Masculinity Unpacked

For the half-term crowd (or those with nieces in tow), Hackney City Farm delivers kid-friendly pottery, animal handling and DIY woodwork workshops. From 27 October to 2 November, expect wholesome fun that even adults won’t roll their eyes at.

On 15 November, Shoreditch Town Hall hosts “An Evening with Jordan Stephens and Friends” presented by Women of the World. Expect a raw and resonant conversation about masculinity, power, and fatherhood—minus the usual fluff.

Sound Healing, Seasonal Joy and Improvised Chaos (In a Good Way)

Back at Hart Shoreditch, don’t skip Candlelit Yin Yoga + Sound Healing on 23 November. It’s the kind of session that makes your nervous system sing (literally—there will be bowls, chimes, and binaural beats).

Then on 18 December, the hotel will host Acaprov: The Improvised A Cappella Musical, combining a Hallmark-style Christmas vibe with musical improv. It’s chaotic, charming, and for a good cause—raising funds for Crisis Helping the Homeless.
