The Top 100 DJs 2025 results are in, and Ibiza went nuclear.
While Shoreditch pulses to underground beats and secret warehouse parties, over in Ibiza, the global dance scene just hit peak spectacle. David Guetta has officially been crowned the World’s No.1 DJ in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs 2025 — again. That’s five times now. Five. Just let that sink in while your jaw hits the LED-covered dancefloor.
Announced at the first-ever live Top 100 DJs awards show in Ibiza, the French powerhouse reclaimed the title 14 years after his first win in 2011. He now joins the ultra-elite club of five-time winners, alongside Martin Garrix and Armin van Buuren.
A decade-spanning legend who just won’t quit
At this point, Guetta isn’t riding waves — he’s making them. The man is 40+ years into his career, and he’s still producing like he’s got something to prove. In the past year alone, he’s released more than a track per month. The styles? All over the genre map, of course.
From trap and hip-hop to euphoric EDM bangers, 2025 saw him team up with Afrojack, Martin Garrix, Hypaton, MK, Fatboy Slim, Nicky Romero, and more. There’s even a remix for a fictional K-pop group — because Guetta apparently exists beyond the rules of space and time.
Let’s not forget the comeback single with Sia, because no one writes emotional drop vocals quite like her — and no one drops them quite like him.

His live shows? Beyond Earthly
Guetta’s creative rampage didn’t stop in the studio. His [UNVRS] Ibiza residency, titled Galactic Circus, was a full-on experiment in extended, improvised sets. Picture lasers, live edits, and the kind of crowd energy that could power an actual rocket.
And then there’s The Monolith — his new globe-trotting mega-show stacked with jaw-dropping LED visuals. From Saudi Arabia’s AlUla to Stade de France in Paris, it’s part spaceship, part rave cathedral. And it’s pure Guetta.
“Still making music every day”
Speaking after the win, David Guetta said:
“To win Top 100 DJs again, for a joint-record fifth time, is an honour… I still make music every single day, because I see it as a hobby and a passion. The most exciting thing for me is being creative and going away from what everyone else is doing.”
And that’s the thing. While many artists stick to formulas, Guetta reinvents, reimagines, and remixes the rules. Every. Single. Year.
The awards night: an Ibiza first
This year marked a historic shift. For the first time ever, the Top 100 DJs awards show went live from Ibiza, hosted at the newly opened [UNVRS]. Guetta performed a headline set as part of a genre-hopping lineup featuring Armin van Buuren, Miss Monique, Boris Brejcha, Indira Paganotto, and Jazzy.

The results read like a who’s who of the electronic music universe. Armin van Buuren won both World’s No.1 Trance DJ and Outstanding Contribution. Michael Bibi took Highest New Entry, while Sara Landry became World’s No.1 Hard DJ. Charlotte de Witte held onto her techno throne, and FISHER snagged World’s No.1 House DJ.
A few more shoutouts: Solomun was this year’s Highest Climber, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike won World’s No.1 DJ Group, and Jazzy — named Future Star — gave us all the feels.
Music with meaning: raising £149k for Bridges for Music
Beyond the glitz and strobes, the night also delivered something deeper. DJ Mag used the platform to fundraise for Bridges for Music, the groundbreaking South African non-profit that nurtures young artists with music education, mental health support, and entrepreneurial tools.
They raised £149,442 — and counting — encouraging featured DJs to sponsor scholarships for underrepresented youth. Creativity with impact? That’s the kind of remix we can all get behind.
Guetta, Shoreditch and what’s next
So what does all this have to do with Shoreditch? Everything. Because whether it’s Brick Lane block parties, Dalston basements, or Hoxton rooftop sets, this city is a creative lab for future club culture. And artists like David Guetta are still showing us how far the sound can go — if you dare to keep innovating.
From a Mars-level light show in Ibiza to remixing K-pop from a Shoreditch studio (just imagine), Guetta remains a lesson in evolution — proof that staying on top means staying inspired.
So here’s to the DJ who just won’t stop spinning forward. Long live the crown.
