Boxpark Shoreditch: Donald Murray Jr Founder of FRAE Frozen Yogurt

G: Tell us about your business.

What do we do? Frozen Yogurt. Very well! We wanted to serve a natural frozen yogurt that wasn’t mixed from a powder base. This is what all our competition in London and the US do – we don’t use nasty powders!

G: Why did you choose Shoreditch for your new store?

It’s an extremely stylish neighbourhood and our brand fits in well here.

G: What do you think will be the main challenges developing your business in Shoreditch and how are you planning to overcome them?

Product awareness is always the battle for us but we are already integrating into the community and word of mouth will do the rest.

G: What would you say have been your most memorable experiences while developing your company/brand so far?

We love giving people a new experience. FRAE is all about healthy treating in a stylish environment and there are not many places in London that you can have that.

G: What were the main drivers of success in your company?

Our people. We look after our staff and they in turn look after the customers.

G: What does the future have in store for your company?

Lots more stores in London and around the UK.

G: Who/what are your favourite CEOs/Businesses in Shoreditch?

We love Brick Lane Coffee and Brick Lane Bagels!
