Summer Streets

This month sees the launch of London’s “Summer Streets” and “The Mile of Style”. Every Sunday this month, Regent Street shuts off its roads and opens its arms to the public to celebrate and throw a party, each one with a different theme.

Sunday 5th: Florist Moyses Stevens throws a sustainable Bee and Butterfly bonanza at The Garden Party complete with live music – be sure to check it out on Instagram (this proper British garden party even features a fake lawn!)

Sunday 12th: Health Kick sees the Harlequins Ruby and England Hockey Teams will be running coaching sessions throughout the day in conjunction with the The British 10k run. Café Royal are also offering free treatments in their Akasha Spa for those needing to recover from the afternoon’s sport shenanigans (or those who were tired just cheering them on!)

Sunday 19th: Fashionistas flock to the Fashion Festival where shows from top designers take place to showcase their most innovative creations. Shops also offer up discounts and competitions, the perfect place to expand your summer wardrobe.

Sunday 26th: To round of the exciting month, Regent Street will come together to celebrate London’s art and culture, featuring live art installations from the University of Westminster’s graduate shows, as well as the newly unveiled Regent Street Pink Floyd Heritage Plaque.
