Suddenly adult colouring books are everywhere. I became intrigued by the phenomenon a year ago, in the interest of research I began colouring pages myself, and discovered that not only does colouring offer a great way to relax and unwind, it also offers limitless creative potential. 
Amelia’s Colourful Colouring Companion was put together through an open brief posted on Amelia’s Magazine, which is created from my home just off Brick Lane in Shoreditch. The chosen artists each contribute a double page consisting of full colour artwork and a similar line drawing to colour in, offering a brilliant showcase for the artist and inspiration to the colourist. The book is a limited edition premium publication printed on lovely thick paper and bound using the lay flat binding process so that it is a delight to colour in.
Amelia’s Colourful Colouring Companion is funding now on Kickstarter and features 40 artists from all over the world. It would make the ideal Christmas present.
