Ten rooftop bars made this list when it was first published in 2016. By October 2026 five were open, three had closed for the winter and one, Dalston Roof Park, was closed to the public. Opening times below come from each venue’s own website.

Radio Rooftop, Strand
Radio Rooftop sits on top of the ME London hotel at 336-337 Strand, with views across the Thames. It opens from noon every day, until midnight from Sunday to Wednesday and until 1.30am from Thursday to Saturday. Last food orders are at 11pm.
Sushisamba, Heron Tower
Sushisamba occupies the 38th and 39th floors of Heron Tower, 110 Bishopsgate, and serves a mix of Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian food. The restaurant is open daily from noon to 1.30am. Bar hours vary by day.
Coq d’Argent, No.1 Poultry
Coq d’Argent’s rooftop terrace and gardens at No.1 Poultry, by Bank station, remain open through 2026. The French restaurant plans to leave the building in January 2027 and move to One Millennium Bridge, City AM and The Caterer reported.
Boundary Rooftop, Shoreditch
Boundary Rooftop at 2-4 Boundary Street, entered from Redchurch Street, E2 7DD, opens Tuesday to Saturday from noon to 11pm. It has a glass orangery for colder months and runs a winter menu. It is over-18s only and cashless. Made in Shoreditch covered its alpine winter rooftop last year.
Queen of Hoxton, Shoreditch
The rooftop at Queen of Hoxton, 1 Curtain Road, stays open through the year and changes its theme with the seasons, with a heated yurt in winter. Rooftop opening depends on the weather. Club Mexicana, which ran the rooftop kitchen, closed in August 2025.

The Culpeper, Commercial Street
The Culpeper’s outdoor rooftop garden closed on 28 September 2026 and is due to reopen in spring 2027. Its rooftop greenhouse stays open for private dining for groups of six or more.
Frank’s Cafe, Peckham
Frank’s, on top of the multi-storey car park at 95a Rye Lane, SE15 4ST, only opens in summer. Its 2026 season ran from 15 May to 12 September, Wednesday to Sunday, with no table bookings.
Queen Elizabeth Hall Roof Garden, Southbank
The Roof Garden Bar & Kitchen on the Queen Elizabeth Hall reopens in spring 2027. In summer it opens Wednesday to Friday from 4pm and at weekends from noon, until dusk.

Dalston Roof Park
Dalston Roof Park, run by the charity Bootstrap, is listed as closed to the public. It has taken private bookings.
