Lost Village festival: A new age of the music & food festival, set within an abandoned forest

Music

Discover an intricately curated world of music that spans electronic, disco and soulful sounds, with artists such as Bonobo, Jamie XX, Tom Misch, Kojey Radical, Horse Meat Disco, Honey Dijon, Daphni, Jayda G and many more. The full music lineup is here. 

As you venture through the forest, expect to uncover an array of weird, wonderful and beautiful destinations, including an old airport, an abandoned zoo, derelict courtyards and overgrown gardens; a journey that encompasses talks, wellness, lakeside relaxation, comedy, creative workshops and spectacular visual performances amongst a passionately curated array of food and music. 

Food

For the first time, we will see the arrival of Table in the Woods, with Santiago Lastra (KOL), Roberta Hall McCarron (The Little Chartroom and Eleanore) and Rafael Cagali (Da Terra) for a never seen before chef table experience located in the woods, all cooked over open flames. 

Creating the festival’s most ambitious culinary experiences to date, 2022’s edition will also play host to the likes of Melissa Hemsley, Tim Siadatan with Padella and Trullo as well as the guys from Kricket, Fire + Wild and Hawskmoor. Lost Village has evolved its four-day escape from reality with one-off dining experiences including lakeside banquets, vibrant pop-up restaurants Lost Village is an incredible world of discovery, with music and food at its heart.

The Chef Line-up

Table in the Woods

Table in the Woods is a new dining experience set in the wild,  led by three leading chefs, over three days. Each chef will serve their 5 course tasting menu for both lunch and dinner, cooked over flames directly in front of the guests, deep in the heart of the forest, all served with paired wines and cocktails. 

Friday:

 Santiago Lastra, KOL, 1* – previously in charge of noma Mexico, Santiago has cooked all over the world growing the reputation of the nomadic chef. Lastra is chef-owner of KOL in Marylebone, using British ingredients and Mexican soul. 

Saturday:

Roberta Hall McCarron, The Little Chartroom and EleanoreRoberta Hall-McCarron, chef owner The Little Chartroom – the Leith based restaurant inspired by her childhood memories of sailing the Scottish coastline and love for the country’s produce. Eleanore, is a restaurant and wine bar focused on relaxed counter culture with high-top dining, the restaurant will serve small plates from its open kitchen, highlighting the best of Scottish produce.

Sunday: 

Rafael Cagali, Da Terra, 2* – Previously at The Fat Duck and Simon Rogan, Cagali’s restaurant is located in East London’s Bethnal Green. Thiis 2 Michelin starred chef is inspired by his Brazilian and Italian heritage to create playful and elegant dishes.
