Dabbers Social Bingo Hackney is a bingo hall on the top floor of the Hackney Picturehouse, at 270 Mare Street. It runs bingo as a night out: comedians, drag artists and dancers call the numbers, there are cocktails and DJ sets, and the prizes are deliberately silly. It is a five-minute walk from Hackney Central station.
The venue opened on 18 November 2022 as Dabbers’ second site, after four years at its first bingo hall in Houndsditch, Aldgate. It has 85 seats, a mix of social, theatre and booth seating, a floor-to-ceiling bingo ball machine and full wheelchair access.
Shows
Dabbers runs the same family of shows across its two halls, Dabbers City in Aldgate and Dabbers Hackney, so check which venue a date is at when booking. Shows on its website in October 2026 include:
- Bingo Voyage, on Fridays, with trips and experiences as prizes: doors at 5pm, show from 8pm to 10.30pm
- Do You Dare Bingo, where players pick #TeamEven or #TeamOdd: doors at 5pm, show from 8pm to 10.30pm
- Jackpot Bingo, with a take-it-or-risk-it cash prize: doors at 7.30pm, show from 8pm to 10.30pm
- Dabbers Social Brunch: doors at midday, bingo from 1pm to 3pm
- Family Bingo, for children and parents: doors at 12.30pm, show from 1.30pm to 3.30pm
Tickets are sold per person and booked online. Ticket listings put most shows at around £14 to £16, with food and drink extra, but prices vary by night. The Hackney hall can also be hired privately for 30 to 85 people.
