Introducing The Doppelgärden: East London’s New Rooftop Ritual
The terrace gets its name (and drink cred) from Doppelgänger, the citrus-forward, bittersweet aperitivo made by Doghouse Distillery, London’s only grain-to-bottle spirits maker. If you thought spritz season couldn’t get any more Shoreditch, think again.
This isn’t your average rooftop bar. Think city views that stretch from Canary Wharf to The Gherkin. Add in lush greenery, loungy seating, and a menu that reads like a love letter to summer drinking.

A tropical remix of a New York Sour made with Doghouse’s Debt Collector Moonshine, pineapple, agave and a Port float.
Cherry Negroni
A sour, juicy update to the classic. It features Renegade Gin infused with cherry, balanced with Doppelgänger and Cocchi di Torino vermouth.
Banana Collins
Carbonated and fruity, this one uses Cask Aged Moonshine, banana oleo saccharum, coconut water and lime. It tastes like holiday in a glass.
Baller Club
A fresh and zingy blend of Baller Vodka, lemon, raspberries and a hint of sugar. It’s bright, brash, and undeniably Instagrammable.
Light Bites for Spirited Nights
To keep the party going (and the drinks grounded), PocketSquare’s terrace menu includes Italian-inspired sharing plates – because what’s a summer spritz without a little something fried and fabulous?

Doghouse Distillery: The Spirit of the Terrace
Founded in Battersea in 2016, Doghouse Distillery has been quietly shaking up the London spirits scene with its boundary-pushing approach. It’s one of the few UK distilleries crafting its base spirits from scratch — including vodka, gin and moonshine.
The Doppelgänger Aperitivo, a distinctly British take on an Italian classic, is their boldest move yet – and the cornerstone of the PocketSquare summer collab.
