London lost one of its best-known alcohol-free venues this year. Club Soda’s Tasting Room at 39 Drury Lane in Covent Garden closed at the end of January 2026 when its lease ended. The shop and bar stocked more than 250 low-alcohol and alcohol-free drinks and let visitors taste them before buying. Club Soda says it is looking for a new home, and its online shop is still trading.
There are still places in London where not drinking does not mean a lime and soda. This guide lists bars, pubs and restaurants with alcohol-free menus that were checked in October 2026.
The Lucky Saint, Marylebone
58 Devonshire Street, W1W 5EA. Monday 11am to 10pm, Tuesday to Friday 11am to 11pm, Saturday 3pm to 11pm. Closed Sunday.
The alcohol-free beer brand Lucky Saint opened its own pub in March 2023 on the site of the former Masons Arms, and it was widely reported as the first permanent pub opened by an alcohol-free beer brand. It serves the brand’s 0.5% lagers alongside a full range of alcoholic drinks, so mixed groups can drink together. The pub also has an event space for private hire.
Redemption, Covent Garden
2 Neal’s Yard and 15 Shorts Gardens, WC2H 9AT. Monday to Friday 12pm to 10pm, Saturday 10am to 10pm, Sunday 10am to 6pm.
Redemption backs on to Neal’s Yard and serves plant-based food with a cocktail list that includes alcohol-free drinks. It is open seven days a week and has a brunch menu.
Basement Sate, Soho
8 Broadwick Street, W1F 8HN. Until 1.30am Tuesday to Saturday and midnight on Sunday and Monday.
This basement cocktail and dessert bar three minutes from Oxford Circus has ten alcohol-free cocktails, each priced at £11, from a 0% Passion Fruit Martini to a 0% Negroni. They are built on alcohol-free spirits such as Tanqueray 0%, Pentire Adrift and Lyre’s, and Lucky Saint is £7. It is one of the few places in central London where you can order a mocktail after midnight. Walk-ins are welcome, but the bar recommends booking on Fridays and Saturdays.
Dishoom Shoreditch
7 Boundary Street, E2 7JE. Drinks served daily from midday.
The Shoreditch branch of the Bombay-style restaurant has a section of its drinks list called Teetotal Tipples. It includes a Sober Negroni made with house-made alcohol-free gin and vermouth (£10.80), a Teetotal Espresso Martini (£10.50) and a frozen No-Hafta Colada (£9.50). There is also an alcohol-free IPA, Kingfisher Zero and an alcohol-free sparkling wine by the bottle. Prices are from Dishoom’s Shoreditch drinks menu in October 2026.
Tips for drinking alcohol-free in London
- Check the strength. Many alcohol-free beers, including Lucky Saint, are 0.5% ABV. If you need 0.0%, ask. Kingfisher Zero at Dishoom is 0.0%.
- Book at weekends. Small bars such as Basement Sate fill up on Friday and Saturday nights.
